Coastal Commons

Coastal Commons is a project that reimagines coastal spaces through collective support and material reuse. It brought together artists, communities, and environmental groups in Birżebbuġa to reflect on and reshape coastal sites. The project observes, converses, and co-creates adaptable responses to coastline use, memory, and contestation.

The letter ‘C’ is central to the identity, appearing in both words of the title. It serves as a dynamic focal point, constantly altering the direction of the typography.
