Beyond Site

Beyond Site is a body of work by filmmaker and artist Charlie Cauchi that explores Malta’s background as a filming location.

The project consists of a solo exhibition titled Backlot, a series of public engagement activities, an audio installation and an online oral history project.

The typography is transformative to resemble the many movie titles which were shot in Malta. The same typographic exercise is utilised throughout the different parts of the project, from printed matter, digital assets and a website.
